The Muddy Creek Artists Guild is very excited to invite everyone to its 13th annual "Pop-Up" Holiday Art Sale, “Gifts from the Arts”. The show will be held over two weekends, December 2-4 and December 9-11, 2022, at 179 Mitchells Chance Road, Edgewater, MD. 21037 (Main Street at South River Colony shopping center). The show is free and open to the public. Masks appreciated.
Show hours: Fridays and Saturdays: 10 am – 7 pm; Sundays: 10 am – 5 pm.
Come PARTY with us at our “Meet the Artists” reception: Saturday December 3, 5pm – 7 pm. Complimentary beverages and snacks
FREE “Studio Intrepid” hands-on workshops for all ages, Saturdays December 3 and 10, and Sunday December 4, 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm, all materials provided. Explore your inner artist and produce your own work of art!
The Muddy Creek Artists Guild is a roving band of intrepid artists whose mission is to support and promote the original art of southern Anne Arundel County artists. In its Holiday Show, the Guild will present a professional art gallery experience, featuring a wide range of subjects and influences, from abstract to realism. You will see how our special Chesapeake Bay inspires the work of several of our artists. The art displays a wide variety of media, including painting, pottery, photography, jewelry, glass, mixed media and textiles. The show provides a great opportunity to engage with local artists, shop for unique artworks and gift items. Our Muddy Creek Artists have been actively working this past year to bring you work that has not been previously shown, including new and challenging work by an influx of new South County members/artists. There will be hundreds of one-of-a-kind, brilliantly conceived works for you to enjoy and purchase.
