The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County, partnered with What’s Up? Magazine, has a current exhibit titled Humans hanging in the What’s Up? office location until November 9 that includes work by three Guild members--Lora Collins, Rich Isaacman, and Steve Schulman. Steve Schulman was one of two exhibition artists who won Best In Show honors, which will result in an article about Steve and his work in an upcoming issue of What’s Up? Magazine. Muddy Creek portrait artist Margie LaRoche has 5 of her pastel portraits featured in a group exhibit at the Sandy Spring Museum offered by the Maryland Society of Portrait Painters. The show runs October 4 to November 18 with opening reception on October 7 from 12–2pm. Stop by!
Muddy Creek photographers Tim Laur, Rich Isaacman and Jen Heinz have photographs on exhibit at Bowie City Hall through November 18 as part of the newest group exhibit, "All I Have is the Photograph." The exhibit is located throughout the city hall building and is open to the public any time the building is open.
Muddy Creek photographer, Michelle Guillermin, had a feature article and photography published in Outdoor Photographer magazine in the August issue. Her vivid description of her African photo safaris along with compelling photography will surely get the travel agent phones ringing to book trips to the continent. Congratulations, Michelle!
