Artists Guild had its 4th annual Fall "Harvest of Artists" Show
hosted by Greenstreet Gardens in Lothian, MD on September 14, 15 & 16, 2012
The Best In Show Award went to James O'Neil for his metal crab sculpture
Showcasing over
60 local artists, this three-day event has become a community favorite
featuring works for sale, art demonstrations, and daily receptions featuring
live music and refreshments. Art work includes wood and metal sculpture,
clay work, oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, mixed media, pastels,
traditional printmaking, batik, silkscreen, photography, textiles, glass work
and jewelry.
Greenstreet
Garden owners Ray and Stacy Greenstreet have graciously opened their beautiful
greenhouse showroom as a backdrop for this "Art in the Garden"
show. Additionally, outside on their impressive Southern Anne Arundel
acreage, local artists participated in an En Plein Air event painting
the local vista. Visitors were invited to watch them work. Completed
paintings were sold at the show.

features locally grown plant stock, garden furniture, apparel and gifts.
The Muddy Creek
Artists Guild holds three shows annually – creating its own gallery in a unique
space. The Guild is committed to promote local artists, to educate
the public about art techniques, and to support exceptional young
artists through annual scholarship awards.
